Beard Balm, Tins, Handmade, 2 sizes, 2 oz, .15 oz
So, I have to say, since my husband started getting his hair cut professionally, and has a style that’s not just “slap a #4 guard on the clippers and go,” he needed a way to keep the longer parts of his hair swept up and back, especially as it starts to get longer.
One day, he grabbed the little tin of beard balm, and used that to style his hair. It worked. He went through that tin, and another, and then went ahead and bought a larger one off me.
Let me tell you: his hair, now, is SO super soft, and SO super shiny!! Like, I was playing with his hair last night, and the greys were practically SPARKLING in the light. They looked like shiny tinsel and not grey hair.
The first day of Sabo, I ran back up to the room to get something, looked in the mirror, and realized my shorter greys were all standing up willy-nilly…so I grabbed the beard balm and slicked them down! I used a little balm in my hair each day, to smooth down the crown, and a bit down the length before twisting or braiding. When I took my braid out after Sabo, my hair was, again, SO super soft, and barely tangled at all.
Unless there are specific warnings against it, don’t be afraid to use things for off-label purposes. Beards are, of course, just hair.
